My name is Chloe’ Flowers. I am a multifaceted writer and creative. You could call me an advocate of black joy, wellness, and simple living. I am a mother. I also teach high school English. On a normal day you can find me rearranging my home, writing or at a local thrift store. I like both coffee and tea, and I am a Pisces. I love to travel near and far. I do love to read, but I like listening to music more. I am a romantic and I adore loving relationships. Writing is my life. I write every single day. I began to write as a very young girl as a way of expression. It’s a hobby I picked up and never put down.

When I began this blog in January of 2019, I was a new mother and needed a place to empty my thoughts and share lifestyle content. I also noticed how the platform for black women and mothers was scanty. This inspired me to share more as an opportunity to relate and help one another through conversation and community. Over the years, I have gained many beautiful connections with those who share some of the same values as me and this blog is the home for that. Beautifully, platforms have shifted and black pioneers (artists, writers, influencers) continue to pave the way and create tables for black folks to take up space.

In 2019 I became a freelance writer and contributor for @alltheprettybirds, writing mostly health and wellness articles. 2019 was a big year for me because that’s also the year I became an educator. My very first self-published project ‘Ode to 20s’ released in October 2020. Ode to 20’s showed me how important my thoughts were and how much they helped others. This work taught me how much vulnerability could heal others. Now, my second self-published project ‘Wildflower’ will be released in summer 2022 and it is a very detailed and expansive healing tool.

Everything I write/share is a culmination of my thoughts and perspective on life. I know how important outlook is and how much it can shift your life. At this time, I am inspired by human minds, bodies, and spirits – the fact that we can get better or stronger each day. The power in our evolution keeps me passionate about writing.

My calling is to creatively influence and host a space for folks connect and emerge through community. Folks meaning men, women, and children. As a mother and educator uplifting the generations to come is a devotion of mine. Thank you for visiting and I hope you stay a while.
